This lesson continues from the Tambour Level 2 beading class. Developing the chain stitch using metallic thread to create leaf outlines with delicate sharp points and filling leaves with backstitch to emulate satin stitch.
The real challenge in the class is learning filling in techniques.
Vermicelli in small seed beads, used to fill in small spaces tightly or sporadically.
Freehand Cornelli, used to fill in larger spaces and in various configurations will give you different density of beading.
